Uncollectables: A Museum of Being (2012)
Inside an antique set of collectors drawers are hundreds of small photographs of uncollectable things -the non-physical, transient, changeable and unattainable, made collectable only by their reproduction as photographs. The images are only visible when the viewer interacts with the piece, having to open the drawers to discover what is inside. This work is a continuation of my work Intangibles and is a contemplation on the nature of a fleeting existence. Please see Intangibles for further information on this concept.
