Inspired by contemporary photographers such as Rinko Kawauchi and Mikiko Hara, I like to make photographs in an immediate and spontaneous observational response to whatever environment I am in, seeking out the simple beauty of unremarkable details and the unusual in ordinary surroundings.

These photographs are unconstructed; here, I make a conscious choice to not complicate my photographic strategy. I think of these images as a visual diary, an ever-growing mass of ideas which may influence aspects of my future practice. These are the things I have seen and found whilst getting lost.
